Cookin' up something beautiful

The kitchen has always been a central part of my life so it makes sense that we would start there.  There was a complete lack of color and charm in this room.  The previous wife had pounded a few hundred thousand nails and screws into the extremely fragile plaster walls to hang her art and treasures everywhere she could.  There were stains.  It was a mess.

Sadly this is the only photo to show how lifeless it was before that does not have other people in it.  Our dinette is so perfect though
